50 Krazy Kaleidoscope Doodad Vectors
If you’ve looked at my gallery, you may have noticed my fascination with kaleidoscopes. I think they’re amazing to look at and I’ve been experimenting for some time in Illustrator trying to come up with the best way to replicate that effect. Lately, I’ve had some success with this so I decided to post the resulting vectors on my site and of course give them away for free.
Included in this set are 50 high quality vector kaleidoscope shapes. You can use these shapes in any way you like either as a logo, as part of a design you’re using, as a brush or pattern; maybe even as part of a tattoo. I hope you guys enjoy this set and find a place for them in your work.
To use these vectors, you will first need to download the zip file, save it to your hard drive and unzip it. Once unzipped, open up the .ai file in Illustrator CS or above.

These are up there with my faves from you, pretty damn cool, repeating background images aswell…
Nice stuff, Grant. Thanks!
Great set, thank you!
These sorts of vectors are very handy for all sorts of work. Thanks for your generosity for sharing them.
Thanks guys! Glad you like them!
Too cool! Thanks Grant!
I’ve also found that you can create a cool kaleidoscope effect in illustrator if you hold down the tilde/accent (~) button while drawing a given shape (stars and polygons are my personal fave). Twist and move your mouse while clicking and holding the tilde/accent button and watch the shapes fly. Okay, I’m easily amused…
Nice work, I like these!
These are really nice… There are some great snowflake patterns in there for upcoming holiday layouts! Good work.
Really cool stuff You are delivering – I can’t understand where You find sooo much time to write articles, deliver freebies..and also work as I understand :)
These are wonderful! Thank you so much.
these are really nice, man… I too have a fascination with them but not as much ability as you, so, thank you :)
