On my site I have calculated an increase of 6% to 15% ad blocking over the year. I personally think the free ad revenue model is over and we should all look to micro payment subscription model or the freemium model. I think they only need improvement on the "approval" stage for publishers as sometimes some great sites with real contents get declined and some really crappy sites with stolen content (copy-paste) get approved.
