Also, I almost commented on the Facebook page. Would that have worked?

  25. WOW! How exciting is this contest?! Not like other blog-giveaways, that’s for sure.

Phantasm CS Studio is an awesome plugin for Illustrator. I’d use it on most of my projects, especially my logo designs, so I can quickly create variations and present my client(s) with logo colour (Canadian spelling) options.

Photoshop is very useful for image enhancements, but with this plugin I’ll be able to make adjustments on-the-fly, without having to switch back and forth between the applications. Can you imagine being able to adjust the curves, levels, hue/saturatione of embedded photos and images directly in illustrator? I certainly can.

A tool that will take care of vector halftones and duotones? Are you serious? This tool is THE plugin to have.

Ok, not only all of that, but I’ll be able to preview colour (<- there’s that Canadian in me again) separations! Hello, t-shirt silkcreen designs!!

Can my life get any easier? Maybe… If I win, Colorburned will give me a chance to win the Intuos 4 LARGE. How awesome would that be? I feel like I’ve found the end of the rainbow.
Now just to get a hold of that pot… Good luck on this contest, everyone. And THANK YOU Colorburned and Astute Graphics for this AMAZING opportunity!

  76. Crazy! I was just talking about both of these with a buddy of mine tonight. He recently bought the Wacom Intuos 4 and is about to purchase Phantasm. I’m dying to get a Intuos 4. I would use it and Phantasm to explore digital art and illustration. It’s something I’ve been interested in since I was a kid, before I made the mistake of getting a degree in accounting instead of following my passion (art and design). It took me years to finally start creating again. Now, I’m like a kid in a candy store. I just love exploring as many different mediums as I can.

    cheers!
