Front-End Design Conference
Last weekend I had the opportunity to speak at the Front-End Design Conference. I was honored to be asked by Dan Denney (@webdesignfanboy) to participate in this event and I had a lot of fun showing the attendees how to create some of the resources that I produce on this website. If you missed it, you should really consider attending next year’s event. You can view my presentation below.
You may download all the files that I used in the presentation below. Included are several Photoshop files, Illustrator pattern swatches, and brushes for both Photoshop and Illustrator.
I really enjoyed getting to know many of the bloggers that I have known and respected for so long. Hopefully, videos of all the presentations will be made available soon. In the meantime, enjoy these files and remember that if you decide to make your own brushes please “don’t drink the paint.”
File type: .psd, .ai, .abr

We had a lot of fun hearing your presentation, too; especially how to make splatter brushes. Thanks for the speedy posting of the resources files!
It was a great event, looking forward to Front-End Design Conf’ 2010.
Loved your presentation Grant, and it was great meeting you :) Hope to see you on a stage again sometime soon!

Thanks to Abduzeedo’s cousin, I was able to see the majority of your talk, live, via the interwebs. Nice job! Maybe I can be there in person next time around. ;)

Grant,
Great presentation. It’s awesome to watch you make the brushes live. And all the tips on what worked for you with paper and type of paint was really helpful. Also, finally meeting in person was awesome.
Thanks,
Sean
so while i wait for it being done downloading, i must note that i am not convinced by your depiction with a head on fire on frontenddesignconference dot com. i’d rather see a real head steaming with ideas, being cooled by gentle raindrops. 132 mb now, good luck.
