Win 500 Business Cards from OvernightPrints.com
You may remember several months back when I posted my new business card design on Twitter. I have to admit that when it comes to business cards I rarely get an opportunity to pass them out. So I am hardly ever in a rush to get them printed unless I have a networking event coming up. So when Overnight Prints agreed to print my new cards for me I decided to nip it in the bud and go ahead and get them printed.
When you submit a design to an online printer, you never really know what to expect. You sort of have to cross your fingers and hope for the best because you never really know how your design will translate into print until it’s too late. That’s why when my business cards arrived that I breathed a sigh of relieve when they turned out as good as they did. The worn edges, the distressed text; all turned out really well. As you can imagine, I’m already thinking up excuses to hand them out to other designers and potential clients.
Before I do that however, I am going to do something that you guys probably already suspect. Instead of hogging all the cards for myself, I got Overnight Prints to agree to give 500 free business cards to 1 lucky Colorburned reader.

I’m a new department manager at the newspaper where I work and I’m horrified by the standard cards we usually receive. I’d love to come at this part of my promotion by having cards that really stand out. Did I mention my small domain was all things graphic? :)

I do quite a bit of work for non-profits resulting in not-for-pay as well. I would love to hand these out to these groups rather than homemade cards.

My internship is ending in a few weeks, and due to a pretty horrid market around here, I’m quite positive I won’t be able to get a solid job for some time yet. I am graduating next spring, and need new cards, as the one’s I have is of really low quality. With my portfolio site done, blog I’m starting, I just need a card that I can actually hand to people without feeling embarrassed. The business card design is already done, but has just been sitting idly in the dark corner of my hard drive, as I had not have any money to get these cards printed with quality!

I’d promote the heck out of Overnight Prints on Twitter. I get asked all the time what online printer to use and I’d definitely tell people to use Overnight Prints! I’ve heard good things. :)
We could really use the free prints. A few months back we got a dedicated business line and now all our cards have the wrong phone number. We were waiting until we used ours up but would love the chance to try out a new printer with some free cards.
