Working With Auto-Shapes in Fireworks

I mention quite a bit how fond I am of the tools that Fireworks provides to help draw basic shapes. Today I would like to talk a little about one of least known but helpful tools that Fireworks provides; the Auto-Shapes Palette. The Auto Shapes Palette contains a wide variety of objects that allow you to draw quite a few basic shapes including: 3D Boxes, a calendars, cogs for drawing gears, cubes, cylinders, hearts, stick figures, thought bubbles, tubes, and more. The best part is that Fireworks’ Auto Shape Panel allows you to draw these objects with the least amount of effort possible. In this brief video tutorial I will introduce you to the Auto-Shape Panel in Fireworks and show you how to use it.
