Create a Fashion Website With Adobe Fireworks CS4
Recently, I have taken quite an interest in graphic design for the fashion industry. I think I am drawn to this particular industry because I feel like they put a great deal of thought into their image and branding. One of my favorite characteristics of graphic design for the fashion industry is their emphasis on photography while keeping the design of their websites as minimalistic as possible. In today’s tutorial I will demonstrate how to create a minimalist fashion website using Adobe Fireworks CS4.

Hi Grant!
Great to see more and more Fireworks tutorials – thanx for sharing your methods. I didn’t know that you could drag pictures from Finder and directly into FW :-)
Do you only use Fireworks for digital and UI designs or do you like me, also still love the bitmap-tools in Photoshop but hate its unproductive methods when it comes to fast wireframing and alignment?
But keep those FW-tuts coming! Luv em!!
Cheers!

Henriko,
I actually prefer using Fireworks for web design. Photoshop is great, but it’s a bit clunky for web design. All projects are different however so it really just depends on how much graphic power you need. If your design is really crazy, use Photoshop but if it’s pretty simple, use Fireworks.
Nice read..thanks for sharing your techniques…
I’ve been hearing so much about this Fireworks program that I think I’m going to go ahead and learn how to use it. Articles like your will make the learning so much better than reading a book.
