Sprays: 10 High Resolution Photoshop Brushes
I am always trying to think up new ways to create Photoshop brushes. In the past you have probably seen me explain some of my techniques on this website, specifically how I use spray paint or a straw and paint to create sprays, splats, or drips. That technique works well but I’ve never been completely satisfied with the results because of the amount of time it takes to clean them up after being scanned.
After a bit of thought I decided to come up with a new way to create spray brushes in Photoshop that relied on ink instead of paint. Ink is thinner, it dries quicker and is easier to apply than paint so I decided to place a bottle of ink into a spray bottle (that used to be filled with carpet cleaner: remind me to label it later) and spray the ink onto paper. The result worked well and you can download these brushes below. Enjoy!
