Web designers are always busy with day-to-day activities, and this is especially the case for freelancers. The lifestyle is grueling and often requires hours and hours of dedicated focus. But if you do not continue to expand your knowledge eventually your skills will fall behind.

In this small collection I’ve put together 24 design-related books which have published in the last few years. I highly recommend checking out a few if you have the time and see where your interests lie. There’s never a perfect opportunity to learn that new language or design technique. Often you have to just jump in headfirst and hope you learn something useful!
